Trademark Filing For Vietnam

Filing Requirements: 

• Name and address of the applicant.
• Line of Business of the applicant.
• Meaning and transliteration of the mark in English if the mark is not in Vietnamese, or English, or French, or Russian.
• List of goods and/or services for which the mark is to be registered.
• 18 prints, maximum size 8 x 8cm, minimum size 1.5 x 1.5cm.
• Notarized Power of Attorney. The original document can be filed within 03 months from the filing date, provided a fax copy of the same accompanied with the application.
• Regulations governing the use of mark in case the mark is a collective one.

Priority Document:

• When claiming priority: (i) country, applicant, filing date and number of the earlier application; or (ii) place where the mark was exhibited, the name of the exhibition, and the date on which the mark was first exhibited. 
• Certified copy of the priority document, or Certificate issued by the competent authorities of the exhibition, with Vietnamese translation, where priority is claimed, filed within 03 months after the filing of the application.
