   Much of the information that is needed in order to apply for copyrights, patents and trademarks in available online, and “search agents” are not needed for most applications.However, if you do want to pursue this as a career, your best best would be to be employed by a law firm that specializes in that field. Legal training is copyrights, patents and trademarks would be a plus, as trademark law, for example of very different from other areas of commercial law.Good luck.
