what do u think about this patent right… (indo vs malay)?
By Yahoo User • Category: Patents in Malaysiaumm…malaysia recently patent a kind of food called rendang (which is, according to indonesian, originally come from sumatra), and a dance called barongan (which is, according to indonesian, very similar and identical to reog dance in ponorogo)…do u think it is just fine, not fair for indonesia, or maybe it’s just indonesia’s mistake?a problom occured in indo about that patent right.. indonesian people really believe that those things that i’ve mentioned above are theirs and originall from them… and malaysia patent those things, so indo people get mad
A country that we do not understand so no idea. Actually do not understand your question.
I think that fair probally does not come into it, other countries are not really fair in their dealings with other countries, for example those that take gold and coca from ghana do not pay a fair price cos the people are still poor. Of course they(Ghanaians) should do something about it as the indonesians should about their problem but this dosent stop other countries from taking advantage………………………
It’s not the mistake of Indonesia. Again, Malaysia is playing neo-colonialism. And claiming things that dont belong to them just like North Borneo which truly belongs to the Sulu Sultanate of the Philippines.
