Where can you register a patent in US? Is registration compulsory for enforcement of copyright and other IP?

   You can go to the US Government Patent and Trademark web site and download all the forms you need….along with instructions.http://www.uspto.gov/Copyrights are a different matter and not dependent upon patents to be protected.
