Interlinks lawsuit against Nintendo?

When the Wii came out a company called Interlink who makes computer products is suing Nintendo because the wii-mote is infringeing on their patent of a a electronic pointing device with a trigger button. The patent was filed back in 1997 but years before that video game companys has made accessories that are electronic pointing device with a trigger button as far back as the 80’s. They are also suing Nintendo because the wii-mote looks and works somewhat like one of there products. I think this nothing but joke but it’s true. But I want to know what you think too so reply away.
