Like someone else said - it is not free to do a patent. You should always record your ideas (drawings and data) in a notebook. Have that notebook dated and signed. You should always have some proof as to when you documented these ideas.Note: Personally, I believe in a free market and it’s not the ideas or inventions that needs to be patented. You just need a great marketing team.

There is no such thing as a free patent. It is an expensive process to get a patent, and it can take some time, that why some products on the market are marked “patent Pending”. to obtain a patent involves a lot of form filling. You have to describe your product and submit photos and drawings of it. after that, the Patent office will contact you to bring your product to them and demonsrate it. If then they think it is a marketable product, you will eventually recieve a Patent which prevents anyone copying your invention. It you wish to market it before a Patent is issued, you run the risk of someone else doing just that. Patent fees vary depending on how they will assess it, can be anything between £3,000 to £10, 000.

you can do it for really cheep, but its lots of work.first thing you have to do is figure out if someone else has a patent on what you are going to do, or just a part of your patent.that is a job a patent lawyer usually does.after all that research (usually 3 to 6 months of full time work), you should know how to do the rest.

Don’t get sucked into thinking you can patent an invention for free - there is always a cost. However, you can do some of the initial patent research for yourself at the Patent Office website and through Google. You can also contact local colleges, many have innovation “incubators” which will help you for a fee or a portion of the patent’s future value. In most cases, even though you will end up splitting the money you may make, you will still do well if you have a truly patentable item…just make sure it is novel and meets all the qualifications before you spend too much money.
not possible. ut you can do it inexpensively:
