   In Microsoft Word, you can go to Insert > Symbol and choose the (R) for registered trademark or ™ for Trademark. Or, you can hold the ALT Key while typing 0174 on your numberpad then releasing for the (R) or ALT while typing 0153 for the ™.Remember that a simple trademark is ™, while a Registered Trademark is (R). They had different legal meanings.
