What do I need to do to make this happen…?
By Yahoo User • Category: Do I Need It To Trademark?I have an idea for a t-shirt design. What do I need in regards to copyright or trademark protection? How do I get started to protect my idea? Does it make a difference if it is just words (slogans/sayings) or if it is just a picture, or a combination? Thank you.
send a drawing to the library of congress. that automatically copyrights it I believe.
A character (Mickey Mouse) or Logo (McDonald’s Arches) or slogan (Just do it) would be registered at the Patent & Trademark Office, a division of the Commerce Department. Be prepared to pay for the service.
You need to come up with an original logo for your company and trademark it by talking to an intellectual property attorney. Next, if your t-shirts are completely original, sayings and slogans that have never been used before, you might consider trademarking the designs as well. This is an expensive proposition to trademark every shirt though.
copy-right is as law-law is as loser-losertrade-mark is as trading grace for law-lawthe law is not of faith: Galatians 3:11,12begin your faith–>hope–charity with gracePicture the end, noting the “you all” begins with “you”:The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
