The letter states: “IF YOU WISH TO RE-REGISTER THE CLAIM, YOU MUST SUBMIT A NEW APPLICATION, DEPOSIT COPY AND FILING FEE.”Can someone rephrase this statement so I can understand what to send in? (for example, do I need to send in the “work” again?
Sure. Your last entery was not accepted. You need to start the process over again.
Send the entire thing in again, with a check that won’t bounce.
You can call them, they are usually pretty helpful. But to be safe submit the whole application package again, ‘work’ and all. The item for copyright will not be returned to you, only the registered certificate.
Duh!It means send in another application with a check that is good.
Remember this when it comes to a screwing it only goes one way for the average person on the street when it comes to dealing with our government.
