Is it required that “Printed in the USA” appear with the rest of the copyright formula in a book?
By Yahoo User • Category: Copyrights in USAA copyright notice has 3 elements: the copyright symbol, the year, and the name of the copyright holder. Sometimes “Printed in the United States of America” appears. Is this required? Why, or why not? The gov’t site doesn’t explain.
It’s not required. People will print that so it says that it used American workers rather than outsourcing.

Publisher can put whatever they want on copyright page. Nothing is required, everything is optional.
