I’m an artist but how do I promote my art, publishing come to mine but then do I need copyright?

  1. From what I’ve been told, publishing your work helps prove it’s yours (always always sign your work). Right out of the gate, the works are partically protected by “intellectual copyright”. Yes, it would help if you got em all copyrighted, and as I understand you could do this by photographing the pieces, and applying for a blanket copyright for all pieces presented (don’t hold me to this, but I think it’s 25 dollars US).Enter art shows, talk to salons and restaurants - some like to switch out the art they’re displaying. One restaurant near me exhibits one artists work a month!Hope this helps.
