Do I need a copyright or patent to sell my own yoga product and who do I go to sell in a large scale?

  1. When you say your own yoga product, do you mean a product that a 3rd party has manufactured? Or is this a product you have invented? Without knowing further details, it’s hard to point you in the right direction. I’ll give you some for instances & links that should help to get you started.Copyrights: You could copyright original prints, patterns, weaving designs, artwork applied to, for instance, mats, holders, etc.Patents: If you have a completely new product OR you have altered an existing product in such a way that it now has a new usage, it’s possible you could apply for a patent. Contact a patent attorney if this is the case.Trademarks: You can trademark the name, logo, slogan, etc. that you are using in connection with your product lines and your company name.I posted links to all 3 — this should get you started in the right direction.Hope that helps!
